Management of Pain & Anxiety (12 hrs)
In this unit anesthetics and sedation will be explored. Topical and local anesthetic as well as Nitrous Oxide sedation will be covered. Managing possible complications is also taught. At the conclusion of this course students will have been taught to:
- Identify injection sites
- Apply topical anesthetic
- Prepare anesthetic syringes
- Administer nitrous oxide
