Patient Care (12 hrs)
This unit will cover patient history and clinical evaluation. Pharmacology will be introduced. Emergency management will be covered and students will have the opportunity to receive their CPR certification. At the conclusion of this course students will have been taught to:
- Identify all sections of a patient chart
- Gather necessary information for a patient chart
- Enter chart documentation
- Medical emergencies
- Become CPR certified
