Laboratory Materials & Techniques (12 hrs)
Students will learn to prepare and take alginate impressions. Students will demonstrate the skills necessary to take impressions for study models and working models. At the conclusion of this course students will have been taught to:
- Be familiar with different types of impression materials and their uses
- Know the different types of impression trays and their uses
- Know the criteria for a quality alginate impression
- Take an alginate impression
- Pour alginate impression in stone material
- Trim models for bleaching trays
- Fabricate bleaching trays
